CTS-V vs Impala SS (LS4)

I just cant accept a SS badge on a car that isnt RWD (or AWD like the TB) and carrying a V8 under the hood.

08/09 White Impala SS is on the short list in the event the wife's SLS becomes unreliable. Hopefully not too soon!

I agree with all on the terrible torque steer comments. Reminds me of our 99 LHS. But that car was complete crap, with the bonus of bad torque steer.

I find that going from my grandfather's SS to my STS is like going from, well, a Chevrolet to a Cadillac. The Seville is a 20x better driving car, and definitely a more comfortable car to ride in for long distances. As nice as the Imp is, I would never want to have one.

I will say, the car is much better built, and uses much nicer materials than the Seville does. It also has a great exhaust note and a good, reliable engine. However, compared to Seville it's just... ehh.

Impala SS is pretty quick with the 5.3 engine in it. I raced once when i had my 745i Sport and that car had balls.
