Always used automatic car wash and never stop or slow down for bad roads, bumps, never warmed up the motor and even put 87gas when station was out of 93, but car still feels and looks like i just got it. now, if you want to talk about electrical problems in bmw is another story. |

Are you guys seriously comparing the "V" to a Pontiac? I'm sure the G8 may be an OK car, but jeez, it's not a "V", it's a Pontiac people. |

The extra $15,000 (or more?) you save could go for a lot of mods. You just gotta sacrifice "style", for a probably better overall deal on a proven chassis with a rear-end that might have worked out the bugs that plague us V owners.
Pure gearhead= GXP
Refined gearhead=04-07 CTS-V
09 CTS-v, whole nother story. I'll take the fastest production sedan on stock tires ever please!
GXP...VXR8 same thing so here ya go... |

But then I found a V. Cadillac ride with all the luxury with Corvette drivetrain?? <- win/win. The GXP is about $10k - $15k more than what you can get a good used V for right now. I would describe the look of the G8/GXP's as a BMW with a pontiac front end. I would describe the V's as a streamlined arrow that doesn't really look like anything else. Ya, there's small issues with V's, but the G8's haven't been around long enough to find out their issues...yet. (GXP not even out yet)
Oh, and Bose > Blaupunkt....and 163mph > 150mph

m sure it will be an easy choice if you have an eye for style. | Project much?
I think my V looks badass but that doesn't mean a Pontiac can't. The G8 looks pretty slick as well. And I have an eye for style. |

Drive a Solstice or a Malibu or even a Cobalt. Build quality is there... |

If you get a Pontiac, get the no navi option if such a thing exists. Take 1/2 your money, invest in a decent aftermarket double din unit. |

Factory Nav is a waist of money anyways. With the money you save you can purchase a way better Aline W505 with docking Blackbird. |
