94 Fleetwood vs newer Towncar. advice.

OK gang,

I have a 94 Fleetwood with 110,000 miles.

I am going to pick it up today and pay my 700 dollar repair bill.

The reason I stated the above is it got me thinking about the POSSIBLITY of a newer car for my DD.

Now I LOVE my fleet. but it does have 110,000 miles now. it has been a overall very good car.

I want to stay with the rwd full frame American sedan.

So if I go newer, you guessed it, the Towncar is really my only choice.

And I like the towncar, but have not driven a 03+ TC.

SOOO,

I was looking online and you can find very nice 07 TC's with around 20k miles for around 20k dollars.

for those who have driven a TC made in the last few years and better yet driven a D body fleetwood as well.....What should I expect?

I feel the fleet would probably be the quicker car, even being as old as it is but possibly lose to the TC in ride and quietness.

Comments please!

I really see no reason in your post to move from your car to a newer FORD. I'd stick with a Fleetwood.

Re: 94 Fleetwood vs newer Towncar. advice.

My '07 TC sucks. My '04 was much better. Not only has Ford not updated the TC, which is no big deal to me, but they have cut corners and looked for ways to make the same car cheaper. And it's been pretty obvious...
