I have a vsport black diamond. Tinted windows, smoked tailights and third brake light and all the reflectors at Trends in Bakersfield, CA. They do plastidip on trims. Tested it on the piece running across the top of the rear license plate. They do the plastidip then apply paint and a clear coat for a clean finish, completely removable and won't peel, gonna do the trim around the side windows and trim around the front grille. I would post pics but I can't figure out how to upload them. App keeps saying the file is too big.

You have to create a photobucket account (its free) then download your pics from your computer or cellphone to your photobucket library. Once in your photobucket library you can edit (really fun) the pic and then click the link button to copy and then paste your image into a thread.

Thanks. I'll put some side shots of it in a bit. But the smoked lights gave it a different persona. Just thinking 100 times be4 doing the trim around the windows and front grille.

I'm gonna see if they can spray the black diamond on those pieces. Just because some of the trim around the windows already has piano black, I don't want to have 3 different colors.

Thanks for the pics. Looks good. I'm considering powder coating my trim in black chrome.

Wow. I'd like to see the XTS V Sport done similarly.

    Re: Blacked out trim

I've had my Vsport for a couple of months now. Powder coated wheels, plastidipped exhaust trim, flat black wrap on the window trim, door handles, front bumper, and the chrome trim on the trunk. All of the dealer badges and front plate are now gone. This is as blacked out as you can get..

That....is bad ass looking. I'm amazed at how much I like looking at the CTS. The total black out is not my thing, but interesting how it changes the proportions. A small item but I think the exhaust trim blacked out makes a huge difference. Nice work.

For future reference, if you post the IMG code, the picture will display in your post instead if a link.

I'm not into the blacked out look either, but it looks good

Thanks but I bought it used with <2k miles already like this. So I can't take the credit for the work. I love it though!
