Why don't you be the first one to try it out with CUE? There was a caveat at the end of the video that said something like performance varies with the audio of the different cars involved. This is what should have been offered in the first place. Just a simple pass through of whatever phone you have and it's performance level.

Yikes! Apparently it induces users to bob their head so as to look like bobble heads driving down the road!
Had not seen that device... Seems a tad weird that there is a market for a $60 to $80 device that you have to push a button on, as an alternative to pushing the button you already have on your phone directly.

Could it be a legal loop hole? Maybe its against the law to push a button on the phone while you drive but not a button on something else. In which case I'm off to file a patent for the "Mobile Clapper".

So, here is my first report on the Beanco Drive Siri Mobile Home. I was able to set up the device following the directions (pairing to my iphone 5s) with no issues. When the phone is UNLOCKED, pressing the button (which looks like a small single garage door opener) activates Siri flawlessly. However... my phone is never unlocked because of TouchID, so i have to unlock the device first every time. I may not have followed all the settings instructions correctly, so i will review and let you know.

Update... so, bottom line, if your device is locked, you are out of luck. You need to make sure your device is unlocked before using. if you are like me, I "sleep" the screen and with the new iPhone 5s that means you are locking the device (with Touch ID enabled).

It looks like the technology is there for CUE to do the same thing without black gadgets hanging all over our cars. Do you suppose GM is listening?
