    Xts cameras

Does anybody know how many cameras does the 2014 xts premium edition have. I heard that it may have four cameras. Also in 2014 when AT&T 4G wifi for cue comes out, you can watch from your device to see all of the cameras when you have it parked in the parking lot or driveway. This is what I saw on the web a short time ago. I asked the sales person how many camera does it have and she told me only one but she wasn't up on the cue.

    Re: Xts cameras

only two as far as I know

one front facing camera for either lane departure only or collision avoidance + lane departure
(lane departure camera only cares about side to side motion... collision avoidance camera has to also have depth perception)

and one rear facing camera for the rear view camera (reverse backup camera)

only the back up camera is meant to be viewed by human eyes
the front facing camera is not a typical camera and the output is probably not in color

if there are other cameras that would be news to me...

also speculation about what will and will not be offered once the cars become 4G LTE enabled is pretty wild right now
obviously that kind of connectivity opens up a lot of options but lets wait and see what GM/Cadillac actually announce and not spread rumors and speculation
