Have a CUE vehicle for a loaner...few questions
My 2nd gen CTS has been with the dealer trouble shooting an electrical gremlin that has popped up. I've been driving a new SRX as a loaner and getting to play with CUE as a result. Overall, I like it, but there are a few things that I'm trying to figure out.
Temperature control - on my CTS, I can disable the passenger side temperature control and sync it to my driver side temperature. Since I'm usually alone in the vehicle, this is what I prefer. Is there a way to do with with CUE? When I adjust temperature on my side and it brings up the climate control on the screen, I don't see a setting.
Bluetooth streaming - I was able to connect my phone pretty easily and I like being able to pause and such from the screen. But, when I'm playing content from my phone, the screen just shows Bluetooth, but no information on the content. I've listened to both content from my Audible app and from Amazon audio. Is CUE not setup to get track information from the device? Or is it a limitation of my phone or its Bluetooth version?
Related to this - are there button on the steering wheel controls that map to the pause/play and track advance functions? This is what I've been used to with a plugged in Ipod on my CTS, but I've not been able to find a button combo on the steering wheel to match this functionality.
Weather Alerts - last week, we had some severe storms come through and the car gave me a number of weather alerts. As I was already aware of them, I dismissed them. However, now whenever I start the car, within a minute of going, I have to again dismiss a string of five weather alerts. It's pretty damn annoying. How do I make them go away permanently without having to stop and view each one?
I plan to poke around the manual some more and my car will hopefully be ready today. But, the flipping through I've done so far wasn't revealing the answers to these questions for me

forward and back on the wheel work with bluetooth streaming and track information is displayed on both the radio and the DIC in the cluster, this is with music and audible, i'm using an iphone 5 so thiis may be phone dependant
you can disable weather in the map settings
