    CUE Voice

Wouldn't it be cool,if we had a choice of different male or female voices? Wouldn't it be REALLY cool if we could have Majel Barrett's voice for CUE?

    Re: CUE Voice

Ok I'll admit I am not program literate but when a $100 Garmin or Magellan GPS can offer a different voice choice and a different vehicle choice on the screen why can't a $2000 option offer the same thing? The plug in GPS's seem to offer a consistent choice of options that have been deemed favorites of the GPS users. Where did GM come up with their selection of options? In fact we don't have any options. Why? Whoa! This is not a put down of GM but a question of where do they get their operating data from? Do they not use other devices that will show them what is out there to compete with their offering? I have a Garmin and a Pioneer GPS and both put the road you are on at the bottom and the road that you are going to turn on at the top, why does our GPS not comply with any standard? Once again this is not a put down of GM but an honest question of how do they come up with their data to offer an inferior product. We are seeing similar actions from Apple in their offerings in the iPhone 5. They have included some of the Android and other manufacturers ideas in their new phone. Why don't the GM engineers do the same? This is only a question and not a slur on GM or any of its sycophants.
