    CUE fan?

I have noticed that if I sit in my ATS and just hit the power button on CUE I hear a fan sound in dash. It sounds like a laptop fan. It's only when I turn on only CUE and not car. I'm sure it's on when car is on but can't hear it.

Is there a heat issue with the CUE's processor? Is it safe to use cue when it's really hot?

I noticed this whirring sound too, at first i thought it was a fan then i was thinking the CD player is doing a test spin, either way its a mystery to me.

I thought these gizmos had a true hard drive? Sounds like one spooling up. Or is it digital storage?

there you go a third option...... the mystery grows

    1) fan (if one exists)
    2) CD spinning up (if you have that option)
    3) Hard drive spinning up (if one exists)

    hmm....
