    CUE Upgrade Problems

    I finally got my XTS back. Took 7 days and many problems. First problem I can no longer access my USB music through Media selection. The only item that appears in media is my cell phone and it keeps asking if I want to pair, even though it is already paired. Does any one else have their cell phone appear under media? I tried a CD and that appears in the media OK, so the problem is CUE not seeing USB. I also tried a card and that also was not seen. Both works fine in computer.

    Also cell phone not working properly. When I call home, a voice comes on and asks for a password. After a moment it says the connection can't be made and hangs up. What tha!!!

    Other problems

    Front passenger seat no longer responds to buttons.
    Vibrating seat no longer works with lane change or avoidance. Despite me specifically telling them before hand to reprogram seat modual after the upgrade. (As other in the forum have mentioned)

    I had none of these problems before the upgrade

    Any thoughts other than taking it to a more knowledgeable dealer who won't take 7 days to correct? Unacceptable.

    It needs to go back for the upgrade to be done again and correctly this time.


    Others have reported the problem with the seat vibration being gone. Some said a seat module repair was required. I also thought others reported an upgrade re-do fixed it.

    7 days is a joke. Mine was done with other recalls in half a day without any issues.

    Good luck and hope it gets back to normal soon.

    I'm sorry for the problems you are having with the upgrade and the time it took to have it done. I can call the dealer for you and set up an appointment while explaining the problems you are having to them so they can do some research before your appointment and possibly get they car out quicker for you.
