    Problem Playing Video

I posted this in the "Playing Video" thread that was already in the ATS Technical Discussion Forum (link) but it probably belongs here:

I'm using a 64 gb SD card formatted as NTFS. Audio (including playlists) works great. I loaded a few videos on (some .avi and some .m4v). Some of the videos do show up but they don't play. I have to double check which formats were showing up but at least it is recognizing some.

When I am in Park and try to play one of the videos... it plays the first second of audio (no video shows up) and then it stops and starts playing the first song on the SD card. Haven't tried other video formats yet.

Anyone have this issue? Anyone have success playing video?

    Re: Problem Playing Video

I downloaded some of the videos (m4v) from the Cadillac web page and played them on CUE with no problems at all. From USB-32GB and SD-32GB. It was a neat way to show some fetures of the car to colleagues. I am surprised that Cadillac did not do a welcome or CUE video that way...

I think it was from this page:

    Re: Problem Playing Video

I found I can play videos on the cue in my 2013 ATS if the video is in .wvm not over 720 frame width, mine have been converted to .wvm 720 width, 576 Height, data rate 1200kbs, frame rate 25, and my audio is bit rate 192, stero, sample rate 44 KHz.

I hope this helps, I also tried m4v, could not make this work.

Any luck? Ive tried several formats, including those recommended here. Nothing works for me. Any more suggestions from others?

What software did you use to convert the videos to the specs you listed?
