    ez 4.1-4.5-4.9 waterpump replacement (fwd)

    drain coolant
    jackstand front of car
put jack under oil pan witha block of wood in between
remove ft motormount bolts in frame
    remove transmount bolts in frame
slowly jack up engine checking nothing is in the way
once jacked up (approx 6inches +or-) remove belt
remove pump pully and all water pump bolts... remove pump
---note some cars will have to remove idler pully bracket also prior to pump removal---
clean off gaskets replace gaskets and reinstall in reverse order..
reinstall motor/trans mounts in cradle.. tighten
    fill with coolant/check for leaks
this will give you plenty of room to work on the pump!

45 minute job the 2nd time LOL 1 hr job the first time

    hope this helps!

Removing the front motormounts is not required on 86-91 Eldorado/Seville's.

How about tranny and PS return lines?? Do they flex enough to let the engine up some 6"?
