Seville trunk leak PSA
Over the years of being on this forum, I've heard quite a few people complain about the water in the well (tire well) and have had the same problem with mine for a while...well today I got sick of it...
This is just something else to look at if you have a "water in the trunk" mystery you can't solve...
Stripped the trunk out and climbed in it while on of my kids "rained" on the car...took a few minutes but I found the leak. I was actually at a poorly filled body seam...right where the trunk lip turns down above the passenger light.
Looks solid enough...
But after chasing it up from the bottom with a tiny bit of water..
Found it leaking past the seam sealer...
Going to fill the seam with some black jack and put the trim cover back over it.
PSA just in case you can't find the bloody leak in your trunk...
