Bad head gasket? Then why is coolant coming from and unknown hole behind coolant cross
i thought i had a bad head gasket and was pulling my engine out but the head gaskets look fine and i see that coolant leftover marks are coming from a hole behind the coolant crossover, down on the block? its firewall side of the engine and before the pulling of the engine, when it was being started water was shooting up with force against the fire wall. i dont see any missing hoses. and i just bought this car from a girl who knows nothing. i am puzzled. any help please!! what is that?

Check the heater pipes behind the rear head. They tend to rust out. That sounds like where your leak may be coming from.
