I bought my platinum STS-V on Tuesday. Went to get my oil changed in my Escalade ESV on Friday, test drove a black STS-V. Took it up to 115mph quickly on the test drive racing a new Jaguar convertible and it was all over after that. Great handling and acceleration for an American sedan.
Looks like you washed it with Dawn dishwashing soap. Then claybar'd the car with a fresh mixture of water and Dawn. Rinsed & dried using a clean new yard blower, and then put a layer of Zaino Z1, let it dry for half an hour and then put a few final coats of Zaino Z2 on it, allowing 12 hours between coats. You then probably bought a California duster and dust it off every morning
I've done that, no better shine on the planet. The STS-V is looking good
Just bought an STS-V. Does anyone know if you can put larger aftermarket wheels on it without any problems? Didn't know if the diff size wheels would preclude you from doing so and the salesman didn't know......Thanks
There is actually a function in the navigation system that will recalibrate the car to your new wheels/tires. Be sure that you have about 10 miles of mostly straight road when you perform this calibration.
Start by pressing the "config" button on the dash, then select the navigation button on the screen, then select the "distance" button on the screen.
We got our Thunder Gray V last Wednesday on November 22. Still beaking it in with only 300 miles on it. I work at the dealer where I purchased it and went on the dealer trade to pick it up. Drove it back to L.A. from San Diego... a nice civilized Hot Rod.
