Where at in MO are you guys? I plan to make myself a roadtrip later next year when I finally get the chance to come back home and see family. Plan on taking myself a long vacation.

Nice! Soon the STS-V will be destroying the big dogs once someone drops a modded LS7 into their car.

Alrdy priced it, I'm not doing it. Its about 20k for motor the about 30k for install including all needed upgrades to tranny, D's, diff. Not worth it to me. But I plan on doing something new very shortly. Waiting for parts to come in now.

Located in the stl area jason. Its really within an 1.5 hour radius of stl city. Always good times.

30k additionally ontop of the cost of the engine or 30k altogether? I'm curious as to what you have planned too!

60k seems outlandish to me... We require three things, a powerplant, motormounts, and a tune to wrap it all up. Timmy's turbo made some 600 horse with all stock tranny, rear end, and axles. Only thing he changed was the stall speed on the converter to wind up the turbo a little more. I've seen LSA's with supercharger and everything going for 14k. Granted that's not an everyday price IM sure but it's a good start. I've seen engine builders building stout ls3's bored and cranked to well over 427 cubes for the 20k range. 700 horse N/A torque monster with none of this heat soak we have to deal with... The sts-v's body, a bigger motor, and the newer escalades entertainment system and I think we would have the perfect car. Hell voice recognition that actually works would put a smile on my face.

you need more than just that ninja. you need to build the tranny, they are only good to 600 on a stock 6l80. the rear end and axles will give you issues, so might as well replace and be done. need a single piece driveshaft. you have to get a wiring harness to plug into new motor and stock computers. there is alot more that goes into it than you would think. i will be posting the new addition shortly. its being worked out now. its very popular in the cts-v world.

oh and i just want twin turbos. thats the only reason i went that route. but doesnt change the base engine price. you could have one built for less, but id be making less power than i currently do so its a step backward.
