Should I be concerned? See picture

You can see the two areas where there is dried up and crusty coolant. What do you guys think?

    ----------

Two spots are top of the picture right of center and bottom of the picture left of center in case it's not obvious

Weird I just posted this as a new thread and it disappeared. Here goes again.

You can see what appears to be dried up and crusted coolant in two locations; top of the picture right of center and bottom of the picture left of center.

    What do you guys think?

    ----------

Mystery solved I posted in the STS forum by accident. They're recommending clean and observe but I have an appointment at caddy next Wednesday and I almost want to leave it so I can show them.

    ----------

Ah on second thought I'll clean and observe. The less they touch, the better off I probably am.

Ok thanks. Weird I thought I posted this in the v forum and when I didn't see it there I opened a new thread thinking it somehow disappeared. Turns out I accidentally posted it here.

I almost don't want to clean it off. I have GMPP and I have an appointment at the dealer next Wednesday. What do you think?

    ----------

Ah on second thought I'll clean and observe. The less they touch, the better off I probably am.

I would CLEAN it up with a brush until there is NO rust or crust left,
and spray it with WD-40 or equivalent, and observe it from that point .
    Happy Motoring !

It looks like a leak that was never cleaned off before ,or just dried up excess. Either way I would clean that off and make sure its still not leaking which it doesnt appear to be and then look into a coolant flush.

Guy, The one on the engine could be just a gasket. Not sure how the other one connects, maybe a o-ring. Clean them both and wait. Danny

Alright thanks will do. And Luda, as for the stop leak, not sure. Car has been serviced at a dealer for its whole life (25,475 mi.) Not sure if a dealer would use that. But I'll clean and observe.

The 3 way hose is shot. Its plastic nothing is serviceable on it and thus it needs replaced. If your GMPP is a major guard it should be covered. Don't touch it. The died coolant is evidence of the leak.

Alrighty. Haven't cleaned it yet so I'll go that route. Next Wednesday is the appointment.
