I wouldnt sell it as it is now. Much less of we could do a swap with twice as much power. I think the biggest problem we would face is delivering that power to the wheels. Without break some other stuff in the process.

Yeah for sure. It's gonna be a hell of a costly project especially if we're looking to get twice the power but it's something I'd do within the next 10 years or if I win the lottery, whichever comes first lol

A good fab shop could make you some motor mounts, and actually we have the same computer with all the same electronics as the corvette and any newer gm performance v8's. The issue then is the rear end I think. But that could always be changed out too

That's interesting to hear our electronics should work. Saves a lot of headache and money. The rear is my biggest concern. I want to swap it out now already, but I have not seen it be done.

That's really good to know! What are main concerns like axle & drive shaft?

I could just imagine it now. (1000+ hp to the wheels.) I feel like the differential would just explode when you put it into Drive.

You wont know til you know I guess. Personally I would just ride the stock rear til she dies. I haven't heard anyone really having any problems with it so hell it might actually hold some power. I saw somewhere they were selling the stock LSA 6.2 cts-v engine with supercharger for like 7-8 grand. Do some minor tweaking and there is a reliable everyday driver. I'd still like to go big cube N/A though. I think it fits the Character a little better.

Any ideas what kinda engine you'd like? If I were to do any kinda swap there's no way I could keep it N/A!

Same here. The S/C is what brought me to this car.
