I expect values to go up. Eventually oddball models such as the Pontiac G8 GXP, VW Phaeton V8/W12, Audi A8 W12, and STS-V will be sought after but don't expect values to skyrocket like late 1960's muscle and pony cars.

Mine is at 42. I put about 3,000 a year. I have no plans on selling it.

Not quite 37k on my 06 now. Normally I would put about 4k a year on it, but this year it's seen a few long road trips, so probably 6k.

I was going to keep the yearly miles low to get collectable car insurance once it's 10 years old, but I'm not going to not drive it for that reason. So I'll see where the miles fall.

The best part of it all is, Ls engines are actually smaller than the northstar and will bolt right up to our tranny! 1000hp isn't as hard as it may seem! Take the northstar out and keep it safe for when it's time to sell. I think a nice n/a ls7 with a fat cam in would be pretty sick. In the long run it'll be a heck of a lot cheaper too!

Well there's a reason for me to never sell the car!

Is it gureenteed to fit? Without a bunch of modification. If so, I might think about it for the future.

Yeah, this is the best follow up question. How much shit will I have to put up with to get it to sit right?

Yeah, if it drops it relatively easy. I might have a new project soon.

Re: Do you think the value of our cars will go up over time?

I've been thinking about it ever since Ninja-V made the comment! Doing the swap would increase the value big time I think but it wouldn't even matter because I'd definitely not want to sell my car!
