Headed to the track tonight need some advice!!

so dying to know what the v will run at the track so going take it tonight just curious if should try and launch it in comp mode or leave traction on? feel like its just going to blow the tires apart if i put it in comp mode. just running michelin pilot sport a/s tires on it. didn't know if anybody had some experience with theirs at the track. not sure if should load it up just a little before take off. really hoping for mid 12's but my crappy lack of experience prolly not going to help lol 2.4 pulley exhaust intake and tune on it. any advice would much be appreciated!!

It's just test and tune - don't worry about reaction time as it doesn't impact your overall time.
Personally, I'd turn TC off or even pull the fuse. You'll have to feather the gas, but the track is stickier than the street.
Depending on your tune - manually shift.
A burnout won't help as you can't put enough heat in street tires to make a difference. But it looks cool.

So it ran same mph with a better 60 ft than the stock car 3posts down. Might want to look in to that.

.525 reaction time is far from shitty.

well i do live in south carolina and was 80 degrees and high as hell humidity so thats got to play a good factor in the time on top of the hour and half drive down with hardly any cool down time and was my 1st time with that car at the track 3rd time in my life driving down a track haha. it hangs with buddies 14 5.0 and he runs 12.0 11.9s in quarter but from roll race he gets me by about a car so i figured its not running to bad.

Humidity is a bitch. Not that I like to play with DA calculators but it might be fun to see what you'd have run in good air.

.500 is a perfect light. You cut a .525. I wouldn't worry about improving that.

Reaction time doesn't impact elapsed time. It only becomes a factor when you're bracket racing.

You could sit on the light for 5 seconds and your ET will be the same.

Where I go .000 is a perfect light and not its not a pro tree. But for seeing what your car can run the time makes no difference. Like others have said. Sit for two mins and still run a 10s 1/4.
