Smile pulley options , exhaust size and the usual questions

    hello,

before anyone starts telling me about using the search button or Google, i actually did but it led me to nothing

so the story begins when i sold my car and ended up getting a 2007 black raven STS-V with black wheels ( i dunno if painted or originally black ) and almost 100k miles in a really good condition.

on the first day i discovered a problem that the upper fan won't work when i start the car until i start the Air conditioning then everything goes back to normal ( Relay issue ? ) .. and the car needed new brake pads so i ordered stoptech pads last night .

and since that is not my first Cadillac, ( i still own a 2004 CTS ) i wanted to add some mods, so i started with spectre intake stage 1 & 2 , and i bought magnaflow mufflers, and i will make a custom x pipe which leads to the first question which is how many inches should i go with ?

the second question is regarding the pulleys, i saw smoothflow pulleys website and they have the Modular Pulley
System and the individual pulley, so which one should i get and which size will be perfect for a daily driven car ?

one more thing : my passenger door doesn't seem to open from the outside all the time, if i replaced the door housing .. would solve the issue knowing that the red line is working ?

I would keep it at 2.5 for the exhaust.as far as the pulley.I would get tim's crank pully for $500 or d3's for $1,000.I got Tim's.installing it with bigger injectors and dyno tune on Monday.

I worked with Nathan to develop the pulley system and Spectre on the intake. In fact the pics of the pulley on the Supercharger were taken on my dryer with a crazy beach towel you can see in the background! I have had absolutely no issues with the pulley system and I use a 2.4 on a daily driven car. You will need injectors to do that to be safe.

My crank pulley and injectors is the biggest gain you can get out of a single mod. Way more supercharger speed than an upper pulley and no belt slip. Plus you don't have to remove and machine the snout for pulley clearance.

Some go without one as some have reported it reduces wind noise.

It does reduce wind noise but I'm worried it does something important when closed, so I've left mine on. Try it out next time by pulling down on it; reduces noise a great deal.
