Ebay has a lot of the parts you need, both aftermarket and oem. Unfortunately, grilles are very expensive. There is one place on car-part that has them. $680 for the upper and $450 for the lower, both new GM. Bumper covers are cheap. Condensers are cheap. Head lights are not. Don't know about fog lights.

Re: purchased 2008 sts v damaged

With as limited production as the STS-V was I'd say if you can fix it properly please do so rather than chopping it up for parts.
With that said you could probably swap to the non-V front end for much cheaper than replacing all the V parts with V parts.
You can get non-V fogs from amazon for less than $100 for both (not OEM but Depo brand lights) V and non-V fogs are not interchangeable unless you swap the front bumper cover too.
The V uses HID lamps, there are non-V models that use halogen lamps and non-V models that use HID lamps, HID headlights from any year 2005-2011 STS will work properly in this car.

Re: purchased 2008 sts v damaged

sorry but old man winter is controling my internet. How much did I pay, probably to much, lets just say other buyers almost wanted it more, and i mean rebuildersand others that know what she is, but just under $8500,yea I think I stepped up to her. The reason for the purchase was actually to use it for a map building my street rod, a 47 chev coupe pro street, which has a 4.4 with 6 speed, a FAT hotrod. Everyone else wants a chev/chev. I am 67 and have always loved the big iron. !st one a 68 then 70 coupe, 78 tripple white/red dash /carpet many more even 80 slantback dieasal, whow what a mistake until my wife blew her up, then I put in 403 olds, smoken those front wheels.

Nope I think you did good. Fix it. That 8500 plus the cost to make it like new and you'll probably have made off like a bandit with that car. I bet you can even flip it for a nice profit.

Re: purchased 2008 sts v damaged

the car is now at body shop to see what it will cost to put her together, she is just to nice to scrap, needs doors forward only. Horns for bumper are even good , little damage. Interior seems to be pretty good. Now l need to start cking for parts, fenders ,hood, rads, alum bpr, facia, lights grilles. Can use info on what will work and what will not work. Will try to post some picts if this old fart can figure out how. My wife would probably like this car, when she finds out about it.
