Sold my V - Chrome rims available

Sold my precious V today . Hated to see her go, but she needed more work than she was worth and found a great deal on a CPO low mileage BMW.
Put my extra set of chrome rims up for sale (dealer didn't want them??) on the classifieds. Tires on them are shot, and I will have them removed to cut down on the shipping costs. TPMS included.

Sad day - I have had this car for over 8 years, but no warranty left and things were starting to bug me.
BEST CAR I ever owned by far. I will miss the old girl.
They swapped my license plates onto to the beemer - may leave it as a reminder!
I may still lurk on the forums here, at least until the rims are sold.
I also have the original shift knob somewhere - couldn't find it though or I would have swapped it for the V knob I had.

Ended up with a 2012 550i Xdrive with only 15K miles - and very happy about the all-wheel drive in this damn snow here in Chicago. Pretty much loaded out with all the gimics. Couldn't stay away from a 4.4L V8. Little less HP but makes up for it with the Xdrive. Couldn't get the Caddy dealer to budge on price/trade, so the numbers didn't work out. Saved myself $20K going with the BMW. Full service package to the end of 2017.

I test drove a 550/535 prior to buying the V. Nice cars - just a bit normal around here.

I noticed this in an update of the registry, I saw yours at Bill Jacobs.

How much for the wheels?

What price are you asking for the rims? BTW, didn't you also replace the front pads with Hawk ceramic? I put Bendix ceramic on mine and it has probably lost half the stopping power.

Had both Hawk HPS and the Hawk ceramic pads. Definitely prefer the HPS here in Chicago. Can't keep the ceramics warm enough in winter, and lost a lot of stopping power. Switched back to the HPS after only one winter due to that.
Looking for $1200 for all four rims. Tires are pretty much done - rears for sure. I was going to dismount the tires and clean them up. That way they are ready for new tires as soon as you get them. TPMS included - all were functional the last time I drove them (Dec/2013).

HELP!! I give up. How do I edit the ad to include pictures - it only allows me to link to a URL. Can't we upload images anymore on ads??
Is there a file-size limit also, as I have highly detailed images from my digital camera I can send/upload.

Won't let me upload image here either - " Exceeds your quota by 134.3 KB. Click here to view your attachments "

Do you have the pic posted somewhere like photobucket?

If so, this is what you type [ i m g ]linktoyourimagehere[/ i m g ]

Remove the spaces I put in the "img" for example purposes.

What you need is a photo editing program to resize your images. You can probably do it with software that came with your camera, or download a free product like IrfanView or the Google picture editor. (I use Corel PaintShop, not free.) Be sure to always do a "save as" and change the name so you don't overwrite the original. Good luck!

Microsoft Paint that comes with Windows (start button, accessories, paint) will resize the image.
