    Playing DVD

    I was trying to play a dvd in the car and couldn't get rid of all the menu items ..am I missing something or that is how its supposed to be.

    Touch the screen anywhere but the "buttons" (play, menu, etc). All that stuff will disappear.

    I think it's the CURSOR button you need to click to remove the menu icons.

    And I tried touching every possible button..thanks for the response. How do i turn the 5.1 surround sound on ? ...i thought DSP button did that but its greyed out/not selectable .

    Press the musical symbol hard key. Then select Multi-Channel. If that button is greyed out, no multi-channel track is available.

    With some discs you have to switch tracks with the search button first.

    You might want to read the manual about it.

    It's all in the manual and it's still on Cadillac web site. Just search for STS.
