    couple questions.

    So I have two questions:

What brand gasoline does everyone use?

My tires are showing mad toe wear, is this alignment or could it be something else?

    Re: couple questions.

I use 93 no ethanol. I've had to resort to regular 93 non ethanol with no issues. Then recently I put some 93 from marathon in and i got a check engine light not too long after. Called onstar. They said

Fuel control system reading not as expected
    P0174

So I put my usual non ethanol gas back in and disconnected the battery touched cables together, reconnected, and haven't had an issue. Been a week and a half with a healthy amount of driving.

I have a lot of toe wear too. Mine is alignment.

    Re: couple questions.

I generally stick with Shell,Mobil or BP.

I won't use Marathon. My wife had an issue several years ago after filling up at one and we've both sworn them off since.

    Sounds like alignment to me.

So I take it something happened to make you ask about the gas?

Interesting about the gas, I've always use 93 octane from marathon in mine and never have had a problem. I always thought that marathon was one of the better stations. shows how much i know lol

    Re: couple questions.

Best I can get here in AZ is 91 and I mostly use Chevron.

As for the tires, it is alignment. If you are using the stock settings have them changed. The stock setting kill the tires really fast. Try these.

I use them and my inner wear is gone. My tires in the front show even wear across the tire.

    Re: couple questions.

Thank you so much for posting a link to that thread. I'm going to go with these specs for my alignment. Although my issue is with wear on the outsides more so than the insides.

If the marathon works, go with it. Google top tier fuel and make sure marathon sells too tier fuel.

Usually Shell or BP 93 octane. Do you have a spectre intake? That was causing problems and I think P0174 was the result.

If you have toe-in wear, then yes, you need tohave that adjusted.

    Re: couple questions.

No mods. And I'm going to go with the specs in that thread. The seem proven enough for me. Waiting on the lowering springs before I do the alignment. Otherwise I do it twice. I just hope my tires make it to the day I get the springs.

I was just curious on the brand fuel everyone was using. Like it was mentioned, all I can get is 91. AZLOL

I was just curious on the tire thing. I'm sure I will get an alignment once I slap new tires on her.

    Re: couple questions.

I can only get 91 here in CA... I run chevron and Costco mostly. I also get P0174 from time to time, in fact, I have that code right now... Tim C intake and plug in so I just figured that's what causes the cil to come up. I just clear it with my cheapie code reader and move on.

Wow. What is it with all this no 93 crap? A lot of gas stations here in NYC 89 is the lowest you can get.

Rob do you think it's the gas causing the code?

I'm pretty certain it's the intake...with having the intake and no tune, the code it coming up lean (too much air) I have Tim's plug in but I'm sure a real tune will solve the issue. Never had a code before installing the intake.
