Hey guys I'm Charles and I have owned 4 Cadillacs in my life and my eyes are set on my 5th a stsv, even considered a regular sts but why not go big! I notice how hard they are to find so I will probably have to ship the one I want when it comes time, I'm kind of finicky when it comes to my cars for example I can't stand missing/broken buttons or small cosmetic things and mechanical is the same way..... I've read up on most of the issues, nav updates, rear end, wheel bearings and that Timmy is the man to see for upgrades is there anything else I'm missing? It will have to black with black interior too, i love black cars even though they are pita to keep clean something about it keeps my hooked, and I will probably be doing the black out thing I know it's been done a hundred times but hey it's what I like..... Here's a pic of my current car 03 sts it's nice but ready for a supercharged North Star!
05+ sts 18" 9 spoke wheels powder coated black on toyo proxes 4+
R1 concept drilled rotors
Full flow master header back exhaust
15% tint all around
And a bunch of other small appearance/performance additions
Same upgrade path I followed, 03 STS to the V, you're gonna be amazed when you drive a V. The interior quality is much higher than the Seville.
The diff bushings are a trouble spot, at least on my 06, need to replace one next year. Dump the Pirelli run flat tires immediately if you get a car with those installed. The stock brake pads dust horribly, I upgraded to EBC Red Stuff with black dash rotors. Mine has a trans problem right now, currently unresolved. Found another member with a similar issue, turned out to be valve body/shift solenoids.
