ALL: I appreciate all the interest in this as I continue to get emails as of recent. However, I am no longer doing this and it was passed off to @JWitt awhile ago. I am not sure if he has kept up with it or not. Sending me your info or making inquiries won't do anything as I don't have the latest/greatest info. I would suggest contacting him for adding your vehicle or making inquiries.

Thank you.

STS-V owners’ registry

So I have not seen anything like this on here, and I figure with only 2,503 vehicles produced over 4 model years, it might be nice to track all the STS-V’s we can. I hope this does not break any site rules. If so, please let me know as that is not my intention.

Anyway, I see stuff like this for other limited production vehicles (namely, just recently the G8 GXP registry), and thought I’d like to attempt this for our cars. It would make nice when tracking back, especially as these are being flipped and new people are buying them second and sometimes third hand. It will also help us to identify who has what number in line each year.

So what do I need from you?

• Your VIN#: This will help when tracking the actual vehicles as they change hands. If you’re worried about giving out your VIN#, I don’t see why. You probably post more personal stuff on your Face book page!
• Exterior color: Self Explanatory
• Interior color: Self Explanatory
• Your name: I will hide last names on purpose, but we need a name to the car.
• Location: City is fine. The nearest major metro area can be used to. I am not asking for your actual address. For instance, I will just list Myself as “Chicago”.
• Screen name: Since the bulk of these will be sourced from here, you probably have a screen name, right?

Please note, I am not asking for anything personal. I’m not asking for your SSN, bank accounts, G/F or Wife’s measurements (although if you wish to add them and send pics for proof, I won’t refuse them), etc. I will have additional columns for previous owners as these cars flip and someone says, “Hey, I have VIN#.......”. I am not going to sell anything to anyone, and I am NOT profiting on this. I am doing this of my own free will.

I am doing this in Excel, have all 2,503 broken out by respective year (2006 = 1,306, 2007 = 642, 2008 = 459, & 2009 = 96)
Please respond to me via email @ CMNTMXR57@aol.com, and include in the subject line “STS-V Registry”, this way I know who to read and what might be spam.

Thanks.

Very Interesting. I can update 1G6DX67DX60204633 - She now resides in Kansas City, Missouri as of Nov 2019. Little one forcing me to shelve my 2 seater Mustang GT project (I am told strapping baby seat from roll bar isn't acceptable) and "act" responsibly by buying a Family Car (wink wink). Thank you for the Registry Information.

Are you still compiling data on the '06-'09 Vs? Wondering how many of the 96 '09s are left? Let me know and I will provide my ride info.....If you are? Thanks.

Sharri from south carolina
Nothing done to it yet, just regular tune and air intake.

Just ordered wrap for it, it's going to be holographic on the sides, and matte black glitter on the roof and hood. I'm aware this is gaudy mess, but please consider I'm in myrtle beach and drive next to squats. 🤠

I never plan to sell. I'm going to be burried in my car. I use a Volvo as my daily because I've already been hit by a DD and replaced the front fender from the scrap yard.

Guys (and Gals as I see we have a lady posting), I have updated the first post of this thread and I will more or less repeat it here...

  • I have not been doing this for a long time now.
  • It was passed off to @JWitt ~3 years ago.
  • I do not know if/when he has made any updates as of late. But contacting him (until he says otherwise) with additions or inquiries on an STS-V you've looking into or have purchased, is the best bet as I don't have the file anymore.

I don't spend a lot of time here anymore, and I hope to not own mine by next spring if I can help it. It's been a nice 12+ years' journey, I've had a lot of fun with the car, but it's limited production and non-existent unique replacement parts are driving me bonkers with all the issues it's had as well as personal issues with the car.

Thank you all for participating.

@CMNTMXR57 I want to thank you for taking the time over the past 12 years to document and do what you've done. I'd be interested in taking over for you or @JWitt. I have already started a spread sheet documenting some info for these STS-V's as well as a few other GM Vehicles, one being the Trailblazer SS. Please let me know the details and I'll take over for both of you immediately. Just a side note, I could not access any files through the links provided in this post. Thank You.

Thank you.

I have updated the first post of this thread and now multiple posts here. I am not doing this anymore and have not been for a long time. I don't have access to the main file. @JWitt took it over but I am not sure what he has done with it.

My frustration is that I keep getting emails with people's info. Guys and Gals, I am NOT doing this anymore.

What I would do is go to any links to the file he has posted and see if your car is listed there.
