You might. I got two wood planks to lift mine a bit. Also be careful when you get it on the trailer. I could not open my doors because they would have hit the fenders for the trailer. I had to climb out the window and roll it back up with the remote.

Yeah I figured I could get wood to help the front lip but I'm afraid ill bottom out as my front wheels get to the "plateau" and the rears are still going up the ramp. I'm hoping that description is clear.

PGA, funny story. I was helping my buddy load his 03 DTS on one of those and we had to do some crazy acrobatics to get the car all closed up because we couldn't open the doors to get out once we drove onto the ramp. We finally made it work and a few minutes later we discover that there's a mechanism on these trailers where you can fold down the wheel housing on one side of the trailer downward so you can open your car door. We felt real dumb afterwards. Not sure if you missed the feature like we did or if you just didn't have it.

That would have been good to know but I don't think mine would have folded down because it would have hit the tires but who knows......... Lucky we can roll up the windows with the remote. I was able to weasel my way in the crack of the door once I got to the destination.

Get out, close door, hold down lock button. Eventually any window that is open will roll up. It's pretty cool. If something stops a window from closing, like an obstruction in the path of the closing window, or what the car believes to be an obstruction, that window will stop and open all the way and the car will honk the horn 3 times to let you know a window didn't close.

    ----------

Strangely, you can't open a window with the remote.

just remember - it will NOT close the sunroof if you have it open. No button for that.

I wonder why that was omitted as well as the ability to "open" the windows.

So far the Sachs shocks have my V "whole" again. At least one of my struts was visibly leaking along with a loose bolt, my front end feels like it should now.

I bought mine from Advance Auto Part for $125 a pop with lifetime replacement.

I noticed but didn't draw a conclusion: $125 Advance Auto Parts, $250 GM Direct, $500 dealer. I also noted that the GM outlets don't identify their struts as Sachs nor am I implying.
