    jabsco pump

    Anyone know if jabsco pump is to much for stock ic?

    My bigger concern was too much for the stock wiring. Assuming 7.5' feet of wire, max capability is 10A. This pump can pull a peak of 9A. If the pump runs at 70 percent load, that's really taxing the wiring, and perhaps creating some heat.

    don't want to have any wiring problems.anyone that has the jabsco pump,want to chime in on length of use or problems?

    I haven't run the pump yet, but I used tthe factory wiring,its working for others.

    I think pga2b has been running one for awhile also. I don't remember ever seeing him post an issue. Maybe he will chime in soon. I wonder if the pump runs a recorded 9 or if that is an estimate. Good luck with whatever you do.

    I have had no issues at all. It was a good upgrade and cheaper than a stock replacement.
