I checked them out to make sure they weren't a young dealership. They claim to have been in business for more than 30 years in the D.C. area and sold over 1 million cars through their franchise dealerships over the years.

Yeah, I always look at a company's history before doing business with them, from cars to home repair outfits. A warranty is only as good as the backer, I've learned that lesson over the years.

Yep, from another forum member. It's black on black. In great shape. Glad I waited. At least I could touch it and drive before buying it.

Waiting for the title. Someone just told me it could take weeks. Hope not.

I bought mine in PA, on a Monday, wired the $ and drove it home to CT and mailed guy his plates when I got home. The bank dropped the ball by not telling the PA DMV to release the title until the following Wednesday!! The PA DMV told the owner 7-10 buisness days from there. It was annoying but worth the wait. The car needs a wheel bearing and the front headlight fogs, but I got tools and can fix that. Already bought the sharkfin antenna too

Re: Looking to buy a STS-V

Since you have a 2008 your HUD should work just fine with the navi. And I may be a regular but I'm pretty lacking as far as technical knowledge is concerned but I learn a lot here. I've already been in multiple situations where I would've been SOL if it weren't for the forum. Ill be moving back to queens mid 2014 so ill be around there.

Re: Looking to buy a STS-V

Thank you, the last owner bought it with 9k on it about 4 years ago and sold it to me with 115 on it, he had cadillac do all the services on it (even has a recall sticked on the engine cover). I got it for a great price, but it needs a few small things done like
    1. Cadillac grill emblem is chipped, I got a new one here
    2. Passenger Front hub bearing is bad, picking up a SKF Xtracker tomorrow from Pepboys for 220
    3. Front driver TPMS sensor acts up, I might just do two new front tires, seeing what my finances are like first.
    4. I'm converting the "antenna" to the shark fin, bought that last week.
    5. Passenger headlight has some condensation in it but I can see the seal on the bottom is lightly peeling, going to reseal it.
    6. The splash guards underneath the front and the engine covers (I know everyone takes them off) needed new clips which I replaced.

Other then those minor things which I don't mind fixing myself the car is a ANIMAL and real fun to drive. My last sedan was a 96 Impala SS and I miss the big GM cars, I'm 6'5" 250 lbs.
