After closely folllowing the posts for the past year or so on the CTS-V forem (as well as the LS1Tech forum) dealing with the rear diff issues, does anyone know whether Caddy will be smart enough to have redesigned the rear in the STS-V to avoid the rear issues (not just the hop issue but the overall integrity of the rear)?

Re: STS-V Rear
Since the STS-V will have an automatic transmission it will be much easier on the rear axle.... the high RPM clutch drops and such create significant stress and aggravate any tendency towards wheel hop. That sort of technique is not required nor necessary with the STS-V with the automatic. Just floor it and let the traction control launch the car with no dramatics.
