    tranny service intervals

    I had the fluid changed at 40k. Now have 80k. My manual is locked in glovebox with broken door. Have a werid metsl grinding sound occassionally when I get on it. Thinking its time to change the fluid. Any opinion?

    I do service every 60k that noise is just you rear getting ready to let loose lol.

    it makes it AFTER the rear gets loose and still in it shifting into next gear.

    ok. what fluid do you use? i thyink i anna swtich to royal purple on the next one, but dont know how to do the change myself.

    Is it worth the cost of the fluid to just do a drain and fill, or better to just have the dealer do a full flush with the machine and Dex 6?
