That was me...I said it because I noticed your coolant gauge was still low. You're coolant gauge doesn't go past 7 o'clock? Mine sits just below the halfway point and the coolant gets to about 80*C (175F) and my oil levels off at 182-190*F. When my gauge is as low as yours is in the video my oil is probably around the 100* mark. Still too thick, in my opinion, for WOT.

Just read your response on YouTube...What are you using as coolant to keep the gauge so low? I know basing things off a stupid gauge with no numbers on it isn't the most reliable thing to do, but I've never had my gauge stay that low, even in 29* ambient temperatures. (I'm assuming here the gauges are calibrated the same way. I guess what I should be asking is what were your oil temps.) If that was after 60 miles of driving then you were certainly warm. Also, hollowed cats FTW.

Thanks for the response YoungBlood. Yeah, my temp gauge never really gets too far above where it sat in the video. It may be because of the additional heat exchange that is on it or just because the gauge is off. The coolant is whatever kind of coolant that was in it when I bought it last October and its pink, not sure if its Zerex, Spectrum etc...
The good news is, regardless of where the temp gauge sits, the oil temp is always between 180-186. I would never make a WOT run unless I was at full operating temps. Your response about the coolant temp made me a little nervous though. lol Thanks for looking out!

Mine was 4400 with me (160) and 1/2 tank minus the rear seat bottom. 4480 with a completely full tank and full interior. Different scales on different days. Hopefully the scale you used was off because I don't want to think these things are that heavy!

    Man....you guys are lite!
I weigh in at 205 on my best day. Of course I'm over 6' tall so I wouldn't consider myself fat, but I may need an extra 15hp to push my heavy butt down the track.
