Is it time for Diesel power?

Been contemplating selling the V for the past few weeks.... I have my eye on a BMW 335d. The lure of nearly equal torque and double the gas mileage has caught my eye.... I have an '06 w/ 48k on the clock right now.

What do you guys think, would you give up the STS-V for a rare German turbo-diesel?

Re: Is it time for Diesel power?

    Possibly.

I was in France a couple of years back for a couple of weeks and had a Citroen C5 turbo diesel with 6spd manual transmission. I throughly enjoyed that car and wish you could get them here in the U.S.

I knew I'd take a hit on gas mileage when I got the V, but doubling the economy with a turbo diesel sure would be tempting.

Going to get a x5 diesel with m-sport package. I have 3 diesel in the drive right now so it's fitting. 28mpg and can be tuned to run 13s 1/4 mile times. I need a smaller dd any way. Looked a jetta but it's to small and not awd/4X4.
