    2.4 Pulleys are here!

2.4 pulleys are done and ready to ship! These are not re-purposed or modified parts made for different superchargers. They are designed for the STS-V and XLR-V blower snout.

The main change is the location of the modular hub. It now installs flush to the end of the shaft instead of further down like before. What does this mean for guys who want to upgrade from the 2.55? The bolt pattern is the same as the 2.55 so anyone with a 2.55 can pull the hub out to the end of the shaft and bolt the 2.4 right on. This can be done on the car. I'll have tools available to rent for that.

Price is the same as the 2.55 setup: $329 installed on your snout or my core snout for zero down time. There is a $300 core charge for the snout, refunded as soon as I get yours back.

Stock injectors will be beyond maxed out and engine damage is likely if you don't upgrade. If you already have upgraded injectors you do not need a retune for this pulley. I strongly recommend a tune however.

With my intake, 85mm throttle body upgrade, tune, and this pulley I made 454rwhp and 438rwtq. A gain of 82rwhp and 48rwtq over stock!

PM me here or email me at t_coel@yahoo.com to order.

For the DIY guys with a 2.55 already, how much for just the pulley?

I forgot that. $109 shipped for the pulley alone.

Will the 2.55 be made 'flushmount' in the future so that they can be direct swappable?

They can be if there is interest. The only reason I used a 2.55 because that was the smallest pulley I could find. I am guessing that everyone wants the smallest pulley possible.

Whats the smallest size possible without upgrading injectors and do you sell? I would love to do this mod but not ready to add injectors to this list right now.

If the rest of your car is stock you could use a 2.4 without injectors. If you have an intake or my 85mm throttle body upgrade you'll need injectors. You only run out of fuel at high rpm so you could run a 2.4 even with an intake or tb upgrade as long as you don't rev it past 6000 before upgrading the injectors.

Thanks Timmy - Not Stock - I have the D3 CAI and D-Tronic performance module. My next two upgrades are a smaller pulley and a tune. Any advice?

2.4 and injectors. If you are getting a tune anyway, why not. My 85mm tb is worth 11rwhp with a 2.4 pulley too. No loss in driveability with either.

    Re: 2.4 Pulleys are here!

Do you have all the necessary data for the larger injectors, ie injector offset versus battery voltage among others. I'm interested, but most injectors out there lack sufficient known data for an accurate tune. In my opinion, injector data is part of the foundation of the tune - bad data can have you chasing your tail trying to fix rather quirky fueling/airflow issues.

Also, would these injectors change the transient fueling - because that is... tricky to say the least. For those that don't know what transient fueling is, it has to do with #s describing how much of the fuel will not be fully ignited, evaporating off the cyl walls, requiring slightly less fuel on the next cycle. Its a bit of a mind bender, chicken or the egg type deal. If you have tip in lean condition (map delta +) or throttle off rich condition (map delta - ) or vice versa - perhaps transient fueling could require adjustment.. But it is impossible to know the true value unless you designed the math behind it and have the means to measure what it is attempting to describe.

But I digress.. Great stuff you make, Timmy! Only wish I would've seen this sooner! Thanks

Yes, I do. I provide it with the injectors when requested.
