    Was told by GM Engineer that the standard leather is cooled like on my 2006 V6 vs. The suede/leather combo on my 2007 V seats because the idea of cooling seats with suede inserts was deemed not cost effective. It was noted that blowers would be less effective passing cool air through suede resulting in premature failure or necessitates excessive repair or upgrades to maintain standards so GM nixed it. Kind of makes sense.

    The XLR-V and STS-V share a number of similarities as does the XLR and Corvette. I'd be willing to have boomys10 borrow my Window Valet to see if it will work on the STS-V bus.

    Well I tried the TopDown Technologies OBD plugin on Boomys10's car - No Joy. Didn't even recognize it.

    not done trying yet. ill continue to play around with it and see what can be come up with. just have to finish with some stuff im currently tied up in.
