MPS w/2.4" Pulley!! BEWARE: BIG PICS :UPDATED- IT'S ALIVE!!

Got the snout back tonight and put it back on my blower. Yes, you read it right. It is a 2.4"!! I also got a 2.5" just in case. Here are a couple of pics. Love that beach towel don't ya!!

I will be putting her back together Saturday and start tuning it. I also ported and polished the blower while it was off.

Special thanks to Tim for machining my snout and pressing off the stock pulley without any damage!

The difference is .15" but an additional bump in boost. It was designed and built by a friend of mine that makes pulleys for GTPs, Cobras, Colbalt/Redline, Lightnings, Etc...

MPS w/2.4" Pulley!! BEWARE: BIG PICS :UPDATED- IT'S ALIVE!!

Got her all together. Now on to tuning. Ran some scans and I am adjusting timing to kill the few blips of KR. All I can say is O BOY!! She is gonna haul ass! With very little effort I got to 10psi of boost and only about 42% throttle and that was not "Mashed". I just kind of built the pedal pressure. It will be interesting to see where full boost will end up. She feels really strong

Not until I finish tuning it. I am adjusting the timing and MAF curve.

It is one torquey SOB!! I have only gotten to 65% throttle so far.

Looking forward to the results. Few questions, if you don't mind.
    1. Is he going to start selling these?
    2. Is this the "other" bolt pattern (the Nate Herbst/smoothflow pattern). Doesn't look like it fits zzp/TimmyC.
    3. Did you port the blower yourself? Just curious what all you did to it. I'm thinking about porting mine myself.

    Thanks for sharing!

    1. I really don't know.
    2. I can't confirm or deny that.
    3. Yes I did it myself. I opened up my outlet in kind of a "keyhole" shape and added 2 holes above it. It is similar to the 3 Snake Bite blowers that were done. Here is a link to my cardomain page and there are pics. It looks like the upper opening is crooked but its really is not as you can see in the 2nd pic of the inside of the case. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/338934...ge-10#15930624

I also ported my heads and S/C on my 99 GTP years ago. Some of the pics are on the cardomain page for it too.

Not bad for a Dremmel, cone diamond bit, and flapper wheels.

Tuning is going good. I adjusted my AFR Spark Advance tables and High Octane Spark table because it was adding too much timing up top and causing some KR. Once I get it under control I will add some timing back into the AFR Spark Advance table to help PE.

I'm not sure if it's ok to do this or not so if it's not moderators please let me know but I made the supercharger pulley system for James. If you are interested please pm/email me and I will get these on my website and ebay shortly!

    Thanks,
