    could not cleaning your intake filter for 10k miles be enough to take away performance? i cleaned my spectra out today (it was nasty and took about 10min) just curious..

    depending on how dirty or blocked the intake filter was, it could affect performance

    i didnt think so, but figured id ask. i know it helped gas mileage slightly. lol. guess its been really dirty here in mo lately.. oh well.

    What do you clean it with, similar to K&N clean and re-oil?

    prolly did it wrong, but i just sprayed it out.. when i got it, there was no oil on it. figured itd be ok.

    The purple color of the filter (at least on a K&N) is the oil, otherwise it's kinda white
