how did you attach your converter? both positives on the converter to the speaker positive and both negatives to the speaker negative?

It's super quiet because you don't need a converter. The line going to the sub is already low level.

    Re: Wiring after market amp

I'm sure. I know because I did it on my last STS. I wired in a converter and it was super quiet. Luckily the converter had a switch for speaker level input or low level. I set it to low level and all was corrected. I left the converter in there but I did not need it. I would wire rca cables directly if I were to put something in the V.

So if I were to use an amp that wants to see both L and R low level inputs, which ones would I use? Rear doors or front doors? If so, when tapping the wires coming from the Bose module in the trunk, does anyone have the wire color codes?

Just split the signal. Don't feed the sub amp door speaker signals unless you want to use different crossover settings than stock.
