    iPhone/iPod

I had a 06 for a few years, thinking about getting another. Great car for the price now, maybe one of the best values.... Anyway, the 06 could use the AUX to play my iphone, but do any of the newer years allow an aftermarket integrated into the nav screen type of ipod/iphone adapter? or any other options to do this?

I think they all have the same red, white and yellow rca jacks for inputs. kinda blows, but I got an adapter for my phone (android) and works just fine.

I use the rca jacks and it works just great. Not very slick but it's functional.

I installed a PAC audio adapter in my wife's TrailBlazer SS and prefer the simplicity of the RCAs and using the iPhone interface.

Buy the Apple Composit AV cable with a charger. WalMart sells them.
It all connects in the console and charges the iPhone/iPod when it is plugged in.
Select VIDEO on the radio/nav unit.
Works great and I use it all the time.
Only problem I have is the case I have on my iPhone interfears with the plug seating firmly into the iPhone. I use the iPod instead.

    Re: iPhone/iPod

I have the UPAC/Simple in mine and it works OK. It was a snap to install. It took all of an hour to do. The up side is you do get the song info on the screen, the down side is no steering wheel controls - you have to use the tuning knob, and the ipod tends to lock up and needs to be reset after sitting for more than 4 days.
