Thumbs up 6 Years to the day... Milestone reached!

It was April 28th 2006 when I brought my "V" home. 6 years later to the day, the warranty is officially out as she turned 100,000 miles!

    Wow!
Anyone else clock 6 digits on the odometer?

Ssstealth; any issues at all in your higher mileage? (I've got to assume they're mostly highway miles...)

The normal stuff... Items replaced under warranty:
    • Grille bent and Shock Tower Brace scratched before purchase
    • Farting seat
    • Squealing Driveshaft replaced
    • Diff Pinion Seal recall
    • Incorrect fluid installed during pinion seal recall
    • Lumbar support
    • Thermostat
    • "V" emblem on dash delaminated
    • 2 door panels replaced for wood delamination
    • Exhaust replaced for rattling resonator

As far as nice easy highway miles, there were a few but it has had plenty of track time also.

Ill be there before summer ends. I did not purchase as new but 100k miles is coming soon. I hope Im somewhere to do that 100mph hour trick as well. Look at the RPM's at 100mph is crazy how much room for speed this car has.

My car is falling apart around me, rattle in the shifter area is by far the worst that I cant frigin find, the rest I can ignore for now. As for the important part of the car the motor, fires up without hesitation every day.

The speed display in the Information Center is only on non-HUD cars? I've never seen that toggling thru the menu on my 08.

That is a bummer if true... Mine stays on the speed display 95% of the time. Maybe others with HUD can confirm. I wish they had actually slid the MPH display to the right edge and included a RPM display on the left side. I still plan on adding HUD to mine at some point.

mine has 109000 miles and still goes to work everyday without a whimper...biggest problem has been keeping shoes on it ...10000 to 12000 max...had to replace the shocks because they were "complaining"..truly a fun car...everyone on the freeway under estimates the power..so....have to be shown you know!! Keep having fun out there "V" owners!!!

I have a non V 08 it has HUD and therefore no digital mph in DIC. All the STS with HUD I drove did not have mph in DIC. I did not test drive any non HUD cars.
I suppose GM was thinking do you really need to have your speed listed 3 times?
I would like the HUD to always show rpm even when not in sport/manual mode.

wow! long time no see, and welcome back. I see a Vette in your car listing, I presume the V has been relegated to less frequent usage?
