For the first time ever there is a race event that will allow Cadillac Automobiles the opportunity to compete in a sanctioned format.

The Cadillac of Races
For the first time ever there is a race event that will allow Cadillac Automobiles the opportunity to compete in a sanctioned format. The Cadillac Challenge is an event exclusively for Cadillac Automobiles. The Challenge will pit drivers and their Cadillac s against the clock in “Time-Attack” format.

Competition takes place at real race tracks with all cars on the grid at once – all of which are competing for the fastest lap time. Whomever achieves the quickest lap time wins the purse and will gain points throughout the seasons nine (9) race events.

What to expect at the races
After the general drivers meeting in the morning there will be a Cadillac Challenge meeting where all contestants will receive a goodie bag which will include the official Cadillac Challenge T-Shirt as well as other swag from our contingency sponsors per event. We want everyone to leave as a winner!

While at the track(s) The Cadillac Challenge will have several garages setup and designated for Cadillac Challenge use only and will be free to use for all Cadillac Challenge Contestants. In between race sessions the Cadillac Challenge will have the Cadillac Drivers Lounge that will have rest areas as well as refreshments. Overall we strive to present a fun and positive group environment!

Rules of the Road
The official times that will be registered for the competition will be on the date notated on the schedule. If the event is a two day event, the official times that will be used to determine who has the quickest time will be from the Sunday of the event rather than the Saturday of the event unless otherwise noted. There is no additional fee required to compete in the Cadillac Challenge Series. If you have a Cadillac, you’re already qualified and will be automatically entered the event. Once again, aside from standard registration fee there is NO extra cost involved to participate.

All drivers will be required to rent/use a compatible time transponder to record the times. Without the transponder we will be unable to track your times. Also required is an SFI approved racing helmet. The competition vehicle must be technically sound and able to meet all the minimum safety requirements set forth by the sanctioning body Speed Ventures, Inc.

Each vehicle will have multiple lap opportunities per session to record your quickest lap time. There will be a minimum of four (4) run sessions per event. All recorded times will be validated and posted when available.

The winner of the event will have the quickest lap time posted by all Cadillac vehicles based on the competition criteria. The winner will be awarded the purse and points for each event. Whoever has the most cumulative points by the end of the series will be crowned the Cadillac Challenge Champion.

Cadillac Challenge Round 1 – The Roval @ Autoclub Speedway Fontana – Recap!

The 2.8 Mile “Roval” at Autoclub Speedway Fontana hosted Round 1 of the Cadillac Challenge.

There were also some fantastic "Achievements" such as Onstar triggers, brake glazing and even an airbag deployment. But at the end of the day all ended well. Competition was fierce with a lot of Cadillac CTS-V’s running sub 2 minute times and dusting the Euro’s that were on the track as well as some well build imports!

Hopefully we achieved our main goal-which was to make sure that everyone had an awesome time!

Please make sure to give big thanks to our sponsors: Toyo Tires, The D3 Group, Br4ss Underwear Monster Energy and Speedventures, we could not do it without their support!

And to the victors go the spoils!

Class C1: Showroom – Steve C. – 2:00.392 Winner of $100 Cash sponsored by D3 and a Cadillac Challenge Hat

Class C2: Modified – Alan C. – 1:57.448 Winner of 1 set of Toyo Proxes R888 295/30/19 by Toyo Tires and a Cadillac Race Hat and Polo Shirt

Class C3: Unlimited Modified – Bob M. – 1:55 Winner of $200 by D3, a Cadillac Race Hat, Cadillac Race Polo and a Cadillac Race Jacket.

Big time congrats to all the winners and competitors, all of you drove your hearts out!!!

We hope to see everyone for Round 2 at Chuckwalla Raceway

Until then <3

Isn't there a AutoCross Type Coarse here in the DFW area where you can keep your car, work on it and weekend race it around the track? I think its a club type thing but might be worth getting with someone involved and see if we cannot put one of these type of things together for those of us in OK, AR, TX, LA, etc.. Heck even TMS may be interested in sponsoring it.
