Engine Air Filters, any choice better than Stock?

Need to replace the engine air filter on my 07 V, anybody chime in on whether an aftermarket Filter, i.e. K&N is
better. Or any other filters anyone has used.

Could also throw on a CAI any problems with those?

K&n is a great filter the recharge kit to clean it is a little pricey for what it is but the filters flow great. As for a cai I've used many the key those are buy a cheap kit and then buy a good filter. It saves you money that way and the filter is the important part. A metal tube Is a metal tube if you know what I mean. K&n cai filters are great as well hope this helps.

We had issues with getting the MAF calibrated right in the beginning but we have that resolved now. The second run of Intakes are all shipping with the new sleeve. Here is a link to them. You need the 9917 and 99171. Use coupon code cadillacowners and get 10% off the order or call me if you are interested. I also sell K&N if you are interested.

Or here is a link to the K&N bit I am out of them for another couple of weeks.

The OEM filters are a little pricey too.

No aftermarket OEM style filters out there as Jaime said. This isn't a standard paper/gauze cartridge style filter.

As to the CAI's, there is a ton of Spectre threads you need to read while sitting on the can or something.
