So I parked next to a Light Platinum CTS-V last night...

Yup, leaving work, Wife called, said she was taking our daughter to the urgent care facility nearby in South Elgin. So I get there, and park next to a light platinum CTS-V.

Now, I LOVE the looks of the STS-V (der!), it is a sexy bisch, but man did it look plain and ordinary next to that CTS-V!!!

Personally, I like the STS-V better in the styling department. I will definitely be trading my STS-V in on a V2 in two-three years...however, it will be for the driveline only because I like both the exterior and interior styling of the STS-V better. Side by side, I think the STS-V is a more sophisticated design...makes the CTS-V2 look cheap in comparison.

That's not to say that the new V looks bad though, it's still a very cool eye catching design.

    Hey CMNTMXR57,
How is your daughter first of all?? Hope she is ok. Then was the CTS-V a coupe or sedan? I tried to get a CTS-Coupe, but not much room, didnt help wife hit her head on the glass while trying out the back seat. She said that is where she sits alot when we go out and the guys take the front... Oh well love my STS-V everyday I drive it...

to me CTS-V looks meaner .. STS-V sophisticated... and once you start looking at the interior and features STS-V wins hands down .. which is why i love my V

Yea, I guess the CTS-V looking "Meaner" and the STS-V looking more "Sophisticated" is a good way to put it. But still, I couldn't get over the contrast, especially since both were the same color, both were sedans, both had black window tinting, Heck, it looked like we both have the same Magnaflow tips.

I DO love the interior (particularly dash), of the STS over either gen CTS.

Daughter is fine, thank you for the concern.
