    Best exhaust option

what do you guys think is best option for exhaust, and most cost effective

I want it to be Loud but not sound like trash, interior drone is not a huge concern of mine

    Nearly immeadiately get:

    -Custom magnaflow

    -purchase gibson

    -!muffler delete

Or wait save up and get Corsa

As a side note I LOVE the way this D3 cadillac sounds

I have borla also. Sounds great. Only draw back is the tips are so big and close to surrounding plastic.

After looking more I'm leaning towards custom magnaflow w/resonator replaced by x-pipe

    Re: Best exhaust option

Quite a bit inside. This is my DD so with the X-Pipe the interior resonance was just too much for me. Sounded AWESOME though!!

Now the exhaust is noticeable but IMHO not obnoxious.

I have Corsa and love it. No drone or resonance inside. Actually quieter than stock while cruising speeds and roars when you get on the gas.

I was lucky and able to buy it for $350 on ebay.

I have Gibson, paid under $400 - stainless steel, no drone at 75+MPH, although the drone can be annoying between 45-65, and in stop and go traffic around 20mph. Makes this car sound like a SUPERHERO, I have received numerous compliments! They look good as well, I don't have any sound clips, and will post a pic shortly.

    Re: Best exhaust option

Is there a point at which the stock exhaust is too restrictive and changing to a performance exhaust adds hp/torque? One would think a Supercharged car would always respond well to any exhaust improvement, but I have not seen any numbers/results that suggest an exhaust change added power.

    Re: Best exhaust option

I have custom magnaflow with x-pipe and no cats car sounds great. Every one who has been for a ride loves it. It get me lots of looks pulling in to car shows. All for under $300. Put a true x on not a H-pipe that is what I got rid of on my vette and replaced with a x. As far a hp numbers the cats were the only thing I got any hp from. Abought 10-12hp and 12-15 tq. I like how my car sounds better with out the cats it's a deeper sound. I think it sounds like the e63 amg,s. You can go on YouTube under 1madstsv2 to hear it.
