I ordered the Gibson in stainless, after a mail in rebate from gibson it was only $323!!! The car that had the Gibson, did it have the stock resonator and it was still louder than your magnaflow w/ magnaflow resonator?? I need to get in touch with you about my intake now

Yes it was still louder than mine and had the stock resonator. Give me a call on the Intake anytime. I have several on order.

You're missing Borla... hands down the best system for the car, no drone and a complete true dual catback, including X-pipe.

Don't get me wrong, I would kill for a Borla system. But $1500 is something I do not have.

    Re: Best exhaust option

Can anyone comment on ease of installation on these different exhaust options? I'm leaning towards the borla based on YouTube video sounds. I'd prefer to stay away from welding and other custom stuff like that if possible.

I figure with the borla off the gmpp it might turn out to be the easiest.

GMPP is discontinued... if you can find one, grab it!

Borla is super straight forward, very clean no welding or cutting.

    Re: Best exhaust option

So I looked up the part number for the gmpp borla and punched it into google. There are a couple of places that advertise it for sale and a couple that flat out say it's discontinued. For all I know the ones that show it available will tell me it's not available when I try to buy it but I'll cross that bridge when I get there. Take a look at this site:

    http://www.gmpartszone.com/scripts/p...product=297274

Is this what I'm looking for? What about this comment:

"Offered in two distinctive sound options: Performance (aggressive growl) or Touring (throaty purr)."

Does this have to do with resonators? Can anyone shed some light on this?

Any sound clips? I love the Borla and noticed no x pipe on the gmpp and wonder if it sound different. I like the 5in tips with borla system. I wish it was easy to pick one because I've been looking and listen to so many sound clips it drives me crazy!
