    w4me tune questions

So, are the tcu changes noticable in sport mode or regular or both? Also, my boost seems to have gone down from stock. Is that normal?

Also, max performance with higher shift points, how much higher?

Is race tune stricly for the track? Why?

Anybody use the valet tune? I might if it didn't take so long to load.
    Thanks,
    Rich

    Re: w4me tune questions

The boost drops because i change the way your exhaust cams move to allow the same horsepower but with less load on the engine. It is just helping you out.

as for max performance mode, that is usually about 200 more rpms shift with a lot faster of a commanded shift speeds.

Race tune is just for track. Because it holds gears longer, dont pull as much power during a shift and shifts smoother so it wont break traction in a turn.

Also race tune is adjustable that allows you to modify fuel and spark if you are on the dyno.

Valet tune just limits horsepower and makes a 70-80mph speed limit.

Thanks so much for clearing that up for me.
Are the trans changes strictly in sport mode, leaving regular mode untouched?
