    D3 Research & Design's Support of the STS-V Market

    Hello STS-V enthusiasts,

We have received several phone calls and emails asking if we still manufacture parts for the STS-V platform. The answer is YES. We have not, nor will any time soon discontinue making parts for the STS-V. Our pulleys, Intercoolers, Intake Systems, Lowering Springs, and D-Tronic modules are all still being manufactured and are actually in stock and ready for immediate shipment.

In terms of performance our product lineup can be viewed here: http://www.d3cadillac.com/products/s...ormance-tuning

As for Power Kits we have a total of 6 Power Kits across 3 categories:
    Street Performance Kits: http://www.d3cadillac.com/products/s...reetperformanc
    Tuner Power Kits: http://www.d3cadillac.com/products/d...wer-kits-sts-v
    Competition Power Kits: http://www.d3cadillac.com/products/d...wer-kits-sts-v

As of today, we are finalizing our ULTRACHARGER application for the Northstar Power plant.

We can’t emphasize enough that if you have any questions at all please feel free to drop and email or call the office…our staff is more than willing to go over any questions or details regarding our STS-V product lineup.

    Thank you,

    D3 Research & Design

    D3,
Yes you are still supplying the parts but they are never in stock when I call to order them. I have tried for the past six months to get a rear roof spoiler for my 07 sts-v and they are always out of stock. I called 6 months ago and was told they were being made, then I kept calling 1 month after that and they were never back in stock and I called yesterday and told the mold got broken so its going ot be longer before you have them. I also tried to order a stage 1 air intake and it is also out of stock. Ontop of all that I wanted to order rims and was told it takes anywhere from 6-8 weeks to get as well.

What performance products do you sell that will not void my warranty? I'm getting itchy...

That's a tricky question, since "what void's your warranty" really depends on your dealer. If your dealer really likes you, NOTHING voids your warranty. If they don't give a crap about you, and they find an empty McDonald's cup in your cupholder, guess what? Warranty voided.

Generally speaking, the stage I and II intakes SHOULD be warranty safe, and a good upgrade choice from what i'm told. BUT you can't get tuned and expect to preserve the warranty unless you swap out ECMs.

Also, things like appearance parts and wheels certainly won't be a problem.

    +1

It just really depends on your dealership. We have dealerships in various areas that purchase and install our performance upgrades on their customers cars and new show room cars. Just depends...

Typically intakes, D-Tronic modules, and exhaust are okay in terms of performance. The best bet is to check with your service adviser and get their take on things.

Re: D3 Research & Design's Support of the STS-V Market

    Hello,
I am sorry to hear you have not been able to get what you need in a timely matter. All I can suggest is for you to call in and check on the parts that you want. I am pretty certain we have intakes in stock and ready to ship. As for the roof spoiler, I would have to check with manufacturing. Do you know how you spoke with?

As for the wheels. Yes, custom 3 piece wheels typically take between 4-6 weeks depending on the finish. That is pretty much the standard for 3-piece wheels.

If you have any questions or if you need any additional information, please contact us at 562-595-8518 or email info@d3cadillac.com.

    Thank you,

I can vouch for wheels...ANY custom forged wheel is going to be a month or more wait time. Actually from my experience it's been 2-3 months from most manufacturers.

I would HOPE D3 has intakes in stock. If you're going to sell STS-V parts, intakes are the bread and butter. Gotta have those.

    Hello,
Yes, we have stage 1 & 2 intakes in stock. Part of the reason is we manufacture right here in in Southern California, USA!! No imported materials from overseas.

    Thank you,
