    Lloyd Mats hook installation?

I received my set of lloyd mats about a week and half ago, and in an excited hurry just tossed them in the car. This weekend I want to get around to installing the hooks that came with the mats (for the fronts).

Do the hooks 'screw' into the stock carpet or are there holes underneath the carpet that these 'screw' into.

i am pretty sure that you just get an idea where you want the mats to be placed and you just "screw" those hooks into place. they just grab into the carpet and hold into place.

Figured as much. My only concern was what the potential holes/snaps carpet would have if the mats ever have to come out.

I suppose some sort of mats will always be in place; I just always second guess making permanent changes.
