The ONLY difference between all the STS-V engines is the way they described them in that chart - for some reason Cadillac wrote VVT in the 06 and 07 and SC in the 08 and 09 . . . but the truth is ALL year STS-V engines are both VVT and SC, they are all the same LC3's, all handbuilt in the same assembly plant in Wixom, MI, and all have identical HP/torque . . .which you can see in the chart. There are some minor changes in the 08 and 09's (fender vents, HUD, steering wheel controls, and gauge designs) and maybe a few others. . . but that wonderful engine is the same in every year, including your 07 and mine.
ps - I'm sure no paddle shifters on any STS-V either . . . only the CTS-V's
Thanks alot CSF, I wasnt trying to be a jerk back either. I appreciate you straighting me out too. I was just seeing the chart and trying to figure it out as well. I am learning alot on this site. Wiffe already complaining I am on site too much, but cant help myself with the wealth of info here.
Like I said still figuring out all my buttons and switches. Thanks alot for the post.
I hope we are helping MMAYZAK !!
No problem. Its best if we all share correct up to date information. As you have seen, places on the internet are very deceptive on the information provided for these rare limited production cars. Luckily, if we all pool our collective knowledge here, this will be the one place to stop for STS-V information.
